• Chimerism is like a memetic virus. The zombies don’t bite you and you turn into one… they plant a seed of a concept into your head, you start to agree, and then you turn.
• Elise Hajara is a trans woman in their late twenties / early thirties. They are a hardass who decided to work for a Chimera hunting/research organization because they didn’t know what else to do.
• They had a traumatic experience when they were 11, where a Lesser Chimera burst into a birthday party and killed/severely injured everyone. Their younger brother, a boy who showed disconcerting behavior with hurting animals (and whom Elise bullied because they were afraid of him), killed it by smashing its head open with a rock. Two inches in front of her. Elise thinks it was too brutal and was horrified by it, but he did save her life, in the end.
